Precision Aviation is a locally owned and operated full service FBO located on the west side of Frank Elliot Field in Rantoul, Illinois.  Centrally located in the Midwest, Precision Aviation is ideal for fuel stops with low prices and fast, friendly service. The field itself has a deep history beginning in the 1910’s as it operated as a military training base for all branches of the military.  Today, the field welcomes all sorts of businesses and general aviation enthusiasts due to its quick and easy access to Champaign/Urbana and the University of Illinois, which is only a short 15-minute drive. Just across the ramp are the Korean War Museum and the Octave Chanute Aerospace Museum, which is the largest aerospace museum in Illinois.

     Precision Aviation has been in business since 1996 and on the field since 1998 when it moved from a small rural field.  We began as an aerial photography and agriculture spraying operation and have blossomed into a top notch FBO.  In addition to photography and spraying, we offer fuel service, maintenance, aircraft rental, flight instruction, and on-demand charter.  If you are spending some time with us, we offer a pilot lounge equipped with cable TV and a VCR.   A weather station and a flight planning room are available for the benefit of all pilots.  For your convenience, a courtesy car is ready for you to visit local attractions and restaurants.
